Prepare a Request
Strategic collaboration is integral to ProLearn Partnership. Training requests are vetted with a priority on collaboration and alignment with program priorities. Map your intended training request to these elements before submitting it, then proceed to the request form. Requests will be reviewed by the decision-making principles identified below the grid.

Step 4. A ProLearn Partner will contact you about the opportunity to offer the training.
Requests are reviewed according to these decision-making principles:
-
Clear alignment with BH Workforce's Professional Development Strategic/Implementation Plan/ or other Strategic Plan/Aims
-
Meaningful contribution to an established goal or an unpredicted priority
-
Essential to achieving the goal or objective to which it contributes
-
Promotes equity: Who benefits/who is harmed with/without this opportunity? Who is included/who is excluded by offering this opportunity?
-
Lands favorably in the Action Priority Matrix at the time of the request.
• Integrity • Quality • Compassion & Respect • Equity & Justice • Collective Impact • Capacity Building • Positivity
• Integrated BH • Collaboration • Equity • Efficiency • Accountability
• Is it a requirement? • If not required, will the benefits of the training outweigh the problems being caused by the gap in performance? • Will this training guarantee the organization a decent ROI?
• Is there an appropriate trainer available? • Is the intended audience available/likely to attend? • Who does the training benefit/include? Who is harmed/excluded?
• What other options or solutions are there to address the need? • What other options or resources could be leveraged to support this need/request?
• What is missing from existing training? • What is needed but not readily available? • What training goals need to be set?
• What is the level of urgency? Is there a deadline (for funding? For compliance?)? • What are any logistic parameters to review, such as where the training will be held, can employees attend, will commuting costs etc. be too expensive, will employees have time, meeting/training fatigue?
